According to the National Bureau of Travel Statistics we , uh, um, “allowed” up to (at least) 1.5+ trillion trips a day to “just traverse through like that” on the US Interstate System in the last year. That’s not even including state and local highways or pedestrian/ other types of traffic. And a “trip” could be a bus with 45 passengers.
